Peter was my first boss in ICI when I joined in 1974. When he left in 1982 I still bumped into Peter on the train when we both worked in London and always enjoyed his company. I have seen him in and around Letchworth quite a bit in recent years and was sorry to see him go through so much pain with his hips and knee problem. I shall miss him, his stimulating advice and good humour.
